The Consulate General of Japan and the Japanese American Association of Northern California (Hokka Nichi Bei Kai) holds Japanese Speech Contest twice a year, spring and fall, at the Consulate’s Japan Information Center.
The speech contest is held for elementary school students in spring and for middle and high school students in fall.
It is a very good opportunity for students to see their accomplishment of every day effort on the study. Moreover, they will be able to gain more confident and motivation from a sense of achievement. It should be one of the best experiences for all of them.

Would you be interested in participating in the speech contest?
